ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE with;
i. C (plain) in Mathematics
ii. C (plain) in Biology/Physics/ Chemistry
OR
• KNEC Diploma in Science /Applied Sciences or its equivalent from a recognized institution
OR
• Two principal and one subsidiary pass at “A” level in Science subjects

CAREER PROSPECTS
1. Teaching in Public (employment by the Teachers Service Commission, TSC) and Private Schools. This includes; Colleges where lecturers are experts in their subject areas and must have a Bachelor of Science with Education.
2. A bachelor's of science in education is a necessity for teachers in higher elementary grades and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs.
3. Middle school level where teachers are experts in their subject area and introduce students to higher-level concepts in life science and other domains.
4. Instructional coordinators direct the organization and implementation of a school, district, or state curriculum.
• They may work with elementary or secondary schools, colleges, or other educational organizations.
• Archivists, Curators and Museum workers: This involves the creation of educational programs and curate exhibits about science. A degree in science experience at a museum through an internship or volunteer experience makes you a more competitive candidate.
